Now here's a cool character. For those of you who haven't played Super Mario RPG, Geno is an action figure brought to life. He can shoot lasers and rocket fists. Pretty awesome.

Here's some of my 3D modeling! The assignment was a character under 200 polys. The modeling was done in Autodesk Maya, and the Textures were done in Photoshop. Turned out pretty good I think.

Trying to simplify here in these now. Clarify, not mystify particularly.

This guy is called the Demorog. It's a sort of "What if the Army got Power Rangers" idea. Though powerful, the machines would be highly impractical to deploy en masse. Their profile makes them big targets, and there are only a handful of them. Therefore rather than use them as the main attack force, they would serve as a psychological weapon. Such a frightening looking weapon would greatly decrease enemy morale.

Here's some stuff from Bob Kato's class. We did large blocking of forms then took them home and finished them. I says to Bob I says, this a pretty cool technique. Bob says to me, its not really a technique, but more of a method to help you think, because an idea carries you further than paint application. Or something close to that.

Magno Dominus

You guys and gals ever play Shadow of the Colossus? I highly recommend it. A game consisting entirely of epic boss battles.
There was a contest on the Penny-Arcade forums to design a new Colossus, so I made one that was Magnifying glass based.
